What is Single Sign-On?
- Single Sign On is the point of entry to Michigan Business One Stop for all Users (Agency Employees, Businesses and CAC Representatives)
- Single Sign On requires a two step registration process
- Create user name / password and request access to Single Sign On
- Subscribe to the Michigan Business One Stop application(s)
- Existing businesses may be familiar with Single Sign On as some state Agencies have existing applications for access through Single Sign On
- Single Sign On is an access point to, but separate from the Michigan Business One Stop application; Client Service Center is responsible for technical support (e.g. User Name and Password resets, application access issues, etc.)
Using Single Sign-On
- Creating a user name and password through Single Sign On is the first step to access to all Michigan Business One Stop applications
- Go to https://sso.state.mi.us (current) or http://www.michigan.gov/business (future - for businesses) - it will be helpful to save in your Favorites
How to Register at Single Sign On
After Registration
The temporary password provided during registration notification can be used only once. Upon submission of the temporary password at login, users will be prompted to change their password.
Password rules
- Minimum password length of 5 characters
- Passwords are case sensitive
- Maximum number of repeated characters is 2
- Password cannot be the same as User ID or user name
- New password cannot be the same as old password
