How to Register for One Stop

Registering for One Stop
The following instructions will walk you through the One Stop registration process. This is a ONE TIME process.
1. Go to www.michigan.gov/business
Please make sure that your pop-up blocker is disabled, that you have java enabled and that you have the latest FREE version of Adobe Reader (available at www.adobe.com before proceeding.)
2. Click on "Start & Register" in the center of the page, which will take you to the One Stop Registration page.
3. For your Login ID, enter your last name, first initial and any 4 numbers. Fill out the other required information, and click “Submit”. The system will inform you that you will receive an email with a temporary password momentarily. Be sure to enter the 5 digit Security number in the box.
Please check your spam mail folder if you do not receive the password within a few minutes.
4. Once you receive the email with the temporary password, click Ready with Password from the Login Main page.
5. Enter your Login ID and the password that was emailed to you, and click “Login”
6. You will then be taken to the Reset Password screen. Enter the password that was emailed to you in the “Input old password” field, then create and enter a new password into the “Input new password” field. Click “Change Password”
7. You will then be taken to the security questions screen. Answer security questions then click “Submit”.
8. Once security questions are successfully submitted, you will be taken to a “Congratulations” screen. Click “Continue”.
9. Next is the “Terms and Conditions” screen. Read this and click “Accept” if you agree.
10.Once you click "Accept", you will be successfully registered with the Michigan Business One Stop.
